The Norman B. Leventhal Map Center at the Boston Public Library has an opening for a Gallery Assistant. We seek an individual who will greet visitors, do light reference work and provide basic information about map exhibitions and the collection. This is a part-time, temporary position. The hours are Tuesday and Thursday, 10 am – 2:30 pm. Additional hours may be available. The position runs from June 19 through August 2, 2012. Compensation: $10 p/hr.
