i-concepts, LLC was founded in 2004 with the explicit goal of helping libraries and museums generate income from their core assets, generally photography, artwork and ephemera. Over the last 8 years, i-concepts has worked with the Boston Public Library, The Sports Museum, the Schlesinger Library and other prominent institutions, searching their archives for historic art and photographs that can be made into unique and attractive prints, posters and note cards. The i-concepts’ collection has grown to include images of Julia Child, Women’s History, early Boston Red Sox, golf, maps and scenes of Boston, and other noteworthy themes.
i-concepts prints and note cards are sold at all Red Sox home games as well as at gift, print, sports memorabilia stores, and on-line.

Description:
i-concepts, LLC seeks someone for the summer with a broad range of skills. The ideal individual would be capable of researching and summarizing background information about new images for the website, adept at social media to manage the company’s social-media presence, and serve as a sales representative at Fenway Park at home games (please note that this includes setting up and breaking down our exhibit space at Fenway Park). The varied schedule of home games means that the schedule will fluctuate from week to week.
Qualifications:
• Technical expertise regarding web sites and social media tools including Facebook and Twitter.
• Photograph cataloging skills.
• Ability to work well with the public (including sales).
• Interest in history, including baseball history.
• Ability to work flexible hours, and ability to work independently
