Volunteer Cataloging Intern, Museum of Printing, North Andover, MA
CATALOGING INTERNSHIPS: MUSEUM OF PRINTING, NORTH ANDOVER, MA
The Museum of Printing in North Andover, MA invites applications for up to two 6-hour-per- week unpaid cataloging internships for autumn of 2012. The prospective cataloger or catalogers will work on Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., cataloging monographs and various multi-volume works constituting the Robert L. Richter Memorial Library’s collection of books on printing and printing history.
The Museum of Printing, an all-volunteer organization, is home to the most extensive collection of printing artifacts east of the Mississippi, as well as to the Robert L. Richter Memorial Library, the Edward J. Frey Collection of graphic arts and printing ephemera, and the Mergenthaler Font Library of drawings for the Lintotype Company.
