Institution: Lucius Beebe Memorial Library Job: Children’s Librarian, part time.

Duties/Description: Develop programs for children preschool through grade eight. Promote reading through displays, booklists, booktalks, and story times. Provide reference services including curriculum support. Provide instruction in information literacy skills. Develop community partnerships that enhance service.

Qualifications: MLS or MLS candidate with demonstrated commitment to excellence in public service, experience with children, courses in children’s literature and reference services, adaptable technology skills, aptitude for public speaking, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Salary: $19.82 – $25.89/hour, in five steps, based on education and experience. Hours: 14-18 hours per week, including evenings, Saturdays, and Sundays.
