Our Palace Road neighbor, MassArt, will be giving Panopticon a library Tour on Wednesday, October 29. We’ll check out the library facilities as well as some of their artist books. Please meet in the GSLIS lounge at 5:30, and we can walk over together.

We had a great (but rainy) time at the Jamaica Plain Open Studios last month, and Panopticon is happy to be visiting the Fenway Open Studios this coming weekend for another taste of local art. We will be meeting in the GSLIS lounge on Saturday (October 25) at 1pm and walking over to the studios together. Details can be found here (scroll down to the second half of the page).

Here’s the job listing for an administrative job with FairMail, “a multinational, socially responsible business based on the philosophy of Fair Trade. FairMail is owned by a Dutch couple and produces, sells and exports greetings cards with photos made by underprivileged teenagers in Peru, and from 2009 on also in India. The social goal of FairMail is give underprivileged teenagers the chance to develop themselves and to make them able to finance their education.”
