Micro-Fundraising: Innovative Approaches for your Library

Looking for some fresh approaches to fundraising for your organization? Are you using technology, digital platforms, and social networks as effectively as you could? This course will examine:

  • Innovative funding platforms
  • Social media fundraising
  • Cause marketing
  • Donor cultivation and relationship building

All course participants will leave with practical experience with the tools and platforms examined, and will craft a fundraising plan as a course project.

Bonnie Roalsen: Bonnie Roalsen is Head of Children's Services at the Dover Town Library, and an Independent Consultant specializing in mobile technology, digital literacy, creative programming, and youth services. Bonnie was named a Library Journal Mover & Shaker in 2007 for her work incorporating digital media and tools into public library service.
